Is it right for me?

The clinic offers consultation within these three contexts. Suitability requires identifying the actual product, its source and application route, and discussing alternatives.

An experimental or emerging treatment requires an explicit discussion of uncertainty and better-established alternatives. Evidence for one source or route cannot establish the safety of another. Local product suitability must be confirmed before use.

Evidence and realistic expectations.

Small studies have explored specific preparations for skin, hair and recovery. Results are mixed and cannot be generalized across products, application routes or conditions. Larger controlled studies and longer follow-up are needed.

Reliable skin regeneration, hair regrowth or faster healing has not been established across these products. The FDA reports no approved exosome products in the US; that does not determine Lebanese law or local approval.

Risks to understand.

These are emerging uses with limited long-term safety data. Reactions, infection and persistent inflammation may occur; injections and use through a disrupted skin barrier have different risks from application to intact skin. Product quality, sterility and contamination are particularly important. Serious adverse events have been reported with unapproved exosome products.

Treatment

The clinic uses topical preparations with microneedling and injectable preparations for selected skin or hair concerns. Before a decision, the consultation must identify the preparation, source, intended route, evidence and local authorization. A product intended only for surface use must not be assumed suitable for injection or needled skin.

Recovery

Recovery includes that of any microneedling, injection or resurfacing procedure. An added product does not remove the need for aftercare or guarantee fewer days of redness and swelling.

Results and review

There is no established, predictable timeline of benefit across these preparations. Improvement after a combined procedure does not show which part of the treatment caused it.

Number of visits

There is no established universal course for exosome or secretome products. A proposed schedule must be justified for the actual preparation and route; neither a fixed number of sessions nor a predictable duration of benefit can be promised.
