Microneedling
Medical microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled skin punctures. It may help selected texture and acne-scar concerns through the skin’s repair response, following an individual assessment.

Is it right for me?
It may suit selected scars or texture concerns. Active acne, skin infection, healing problems, medicines and a tendency to form raised scars need discussion first.
Tell the clinician about cold sores, unusual scarring, pigment changes after injury, current medicines and recent procedures. Active infection or irritated skin may require treatment first.
Evidence and realistic expectations.
Medical microneedling has clinical evidence for improving the appearance of selected indented scars and wrinkles. Outcomes depend on the scar pattern and skin response; it is not a complete scar-removal treatment.
Ordinary microneedling does not use RF heat. Adding PRP, exosomes, secretomes or another substance is a separate decision with separate evidence and risks; benefit from microneedling alone cannot validate an added product.
Risks to understand.
Bleeding, bruising, infection, pigment change and scarring are possible. Medical assessment, appropriate hygiene and aftercare matter; this page is not a guide to home treatment.
