The Skin Canvas Plan
The Skin Canvas Plan assesses acne-scar shape, depth and skin tone. The choice of treatment follows those findings and control of active acne, with no promise of complete scar removal.

Is it right for me?
It may suit established acne scars once active acne and skin inflammation have been assessed. Pigment risk and willingness to allow recovery affect the choice.
Bring details of previous fillers, procedures, medicines and skin reactions. A plan may need to be delayed or simplified. Recovery from one procedure and the suitability of the next should be assessed separately.
Evidence and realistic expectations.
This is a clinic-designed consultation framework, not a combination protocol validated as a whole in clinical trials. The sources below concern individual options. They do not establish that combining them is better or safer than a simpler plan.
Scar type matters more than the number of devices. Ice-pick, rolling and boxcar scars may need different methods; active acne should be managed to reduce further scarring.
Risks to understand.
Each chosen procedure retains its own risks. Doing more procedures can add cost, recovery and complications without extra benefit. Discuss each material or device, the treatment order and alternatives; the consultation should not assume every listed option is needed.
What to expect.
Consultation
Discuss your concern, medical history, previous treatments and what you would like to preserve. Dr. Roy will explain suitable options, alternatives, risks and fees before you decide.
Your plan
Consider microneedling, fractional CO2 or RF microneedling according to scar type and skin risk. A tethered or very deep scar may need assessment for another technique or referral. PRP is optional and its added benefit is uncertain.
Individual options to compare; a plan may use one, several or none:
Recovery
Recovery depends on the stage, with CO2 usually requiring more visible healing than a lighter treatment. Several days to two weeks or longer may need to be allowed.
Results and review
Scar appearance is reviewed over months. No fixed percentage improvement or complete scar removal is promised.
Number of visits
There is no preset number or interval of treatment visits for this plan. Agree on an initial step, its cost and a review point. Healing, response, product guidance and your preferences determine whether to add or repeat anything.
