Lip flip
A lip flip aims to reveal a little more of the upper lip by relaxing selected muscle activity. It changes lip movement rather than adding filler volume.
Is it right for me?
It may be considered when the upper lip rolls inward on smiling. It is not suitable for everyone who wants larger lips, and lip function must be considered.
Treatment is unsuitable with an infection at the injection site or allergy to the proposed product. Neuromuscular illness, swallowing or breathing problems and medicines that affect muscle function need specific review. Pregnancy and breastfeeding require discussion because safety data are limited; elective treatment may be deferred.
Evidence and realistic expectations.
A lip flip is an off-label use of many botulinum toxin products, with less clinical evidence than established upper-face indications. It is not equivalent to lip filler.

Risks to understand.
