Hair loss and thinning
A widening part, reduced density or increased shedding can have different causes. A scalp assessment comes before selecting a hair-treatment course.

Understanding the concern.
Pattern thinning, temporary shedding, inflammation and scarring conditions are different. Some need medical investigation or specialist care before an aesthetic procedure is considered.
Where care starts.
Establish the diagnosis first and investigate contributing health factors when appropriate. For pattern hair loss, discuss established options such as minoxidil and suitable prescription treatment. PRP or newer products should be considered in that context, rather than delaying effective medical care.
What the evidence means.
Hair thinning has several causes. PRP may help some pattern hair loss, while exosome and secretome evidence remains limited and preparation-specific. Scarring hair loss can permanently damage follicles and needs prompt specialist assessment.
Options to discuss.
PRP for hair
A platelet-based option to discuss for selected types of thinning.
Hair boosters
A consultation to identify the actual scalp product or method proposed.
Exosomes and secretomes for hair
Exosomes and secretomes: emerging approaches with limited, route-specific evidence.
Your questions.
Is all hair loss treated in the same way?
No. The cause determines the plan. Sudden shedding, patches or scalp symptoms deserve assessment rather than an automatic injection course.
Can PRP restore hair in every bald area?
No. The diagnosis and remaining follicles affect the chance of response. Longstanding bald or scarred areas may not respond.
Are exosomes proven to work for every type of hair loss?
No. Exosomes and secretomes are different categories with limited evidence. Small studies of particular products and routes do not establish benefit for all hair-loss diagnoses or justify replacing an appropriate medical treatment.
When could I notice a change?
Hair-cycle changes take months to assess. A review plan should use consistent photographs and an appropriate timeframe.
Should I stop my current hair-loss treatment before visiting?
Do not stop a prescribed treatment on the basis of this website. Bring the details so the clinician can review your plan.
What information helps at the consultation?
The onset, shedding pattern, scalp symptoms, medicines, recent health changes and previous treatment response all help guide assessment.
