Pores are normal and cannot be permanently erased. A realistic plan focuses on selected improvements in appearance while maintaining healthy skin care.
Where care starts.
Begin with gentle skincare, sun protection and appropriate control of acne or excess oil. A procedure can be considered for a defined concern after irritation has settled, with realistic goals for normal skin texture.
What the evidence means.
Treatments may improve how pores or texture look, but pores cannot be permanently closed. Adding RF heat or an injectable does not automatically improve ordinary microneedling results and introduces different risks.

Your questions.
Can treatment close my pores permanently?
No. Pores remain normal skin structures, even if their appearance changes.
Are visible pores the same as acne scars?
No. They may coexist, but a scar assessment looks at a different structural change in the skin.
Will I need RF microneedling?
Not necessarily. It is one option with additional risks from heat; skincare or another approach may be more appropriate.
Can I have treatment while my skin is irritated?
Irritation or active skin problems should be assessed first. Proceeding too soon can add inflammation or pigment risk.
How long does texture improvement take?
The response depends on the treatment and is often reviewed over weeks to months. A single visit is not a guaranteed reset.
Can the plan include treatment for uneven tone?
It can be discussed separately if needed. A tone concern should have its own assessment rather than automatically adding another procedure.
