What should I ask at my first aesthetic consultation?
Bring your goals and questions; you do not need to arrive with a treatment selected. A useful consultation should leave you understanding the recommendation, alternatives, risks, recovery and full cost, with time to decide.

Explain what matters to you
Describe the concern in your own words and what you would like to preserve. It is useful to mention an upcoming event, your tolerance for downtime and any previous treatment experience. Share medicines, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and relevant medical history with the physician during the assessment.
Understand the person and the plan
Ask who will perform the procedure and about their relevant training. Dr. Roy Dagher is an aesthetic physician with more than 10 years in the field, an AAAM fellowship and training at King’s College London. His biography describes his practice, skin-formulation background and diagnostic facial ultrasound expertise. Credentials do not remove the risks of a procedure.
Ask six practical questions
